Here is my prediction.
- MacBook Air refreshed with Core i3 + new 11"?
- White Macbook refreshed with Core i3
- 13" MacBook Pro with Core i3 + option for Core i5 (low-end)
- iLife 2010
- iWork 2010
In my case, you have to consider how much space they will add in between these product to distinct the differences.
For example, if you make 13" MacBook Pro with Core i7. What is the point of 15" series then (just the screen size and it will destroy the choices for those who like to run it on external monitors. Same spec just smaller screen and cheaper. Why not 13"? Pay less for same performance, all the need is to run it on external monitor.)? Price won't make the different anymore.
Right now, MacBook Air is very close to MacBook 13" it's just thinner. Perhaps they will design it to 11" to make a differences in between.
Easier choices for the customer to buy without being stuck in decision and take ages to convince them enough to buy them finally about 1 month later. Some might even give up and go for Sony Z series.
