i remember reading a rumor that the dev team has already found a way in with 4.1 and JB will be ready when 4.1 goes live...could be wrong, just saying that i did read that somewhere.

Honestly if they just release a proximity sensor fix then
there will be no reason to update.

Perhaps they can find out what apple did and just release a patch like Saurik did for the PDF exploit.

Thanks guys for the help and pointers :thumb: And apologies if any of my posts came across as rude or ignorant. They really weren't meant that way.

Anyways, I understand that the role of the Jailbreak team isn't to help people like me who decide to Jailbreak and then want a Jailbreak fix straight after the next Firmware update. Anyone who thinks like that is just selfish and.... well, you know what I mean :)

The only reason why I was curious and wanted any kind of update was simply down to the fact of me being on the verge of buying a Parrot BT Kit, which at this moment in time is having MAJOR problems due to Apple's 4.0 FW. But according to Parrot the issues will be fixed in the 4.1 FW.

I would have liked to have tried the Parrot Kit with the 4.1 FW and if there were any problems I could have got a full refund within 14 days. But if I buy now and the JB firmware isn't released in time then I'd be at a loss of £200 ($400+). And before anyone blazes me, I'm not blaming the JB team. This is obviously not their problem.

Right, now I'm off to watch a film :D
