Are you using Windows 11 Home? IIRC Pro give you the ability to edit GP to disable stuff, which should stick.
11 Pro (which I use) does the same thing

It seems that they overwrite the settings with every update on parts where money is to be made. Office 365 isn't important to me, but I am reminded about it quite a lot.
Defender is one of the few things they make that actually works well. They would make it a subscription, if they could, but the press about it would remind them about all the malware out there because of security holes that they would relent.I've noticed that they even stuck Microsoft Defender behind the 365 paywall now. The next time I get a popup telling me to resubscribe to 365 to use Defender (after disabling Defender as a startup item) I might throw something in Redmond's direction...
Windows 10 is the last 32bit version of Windows and it's losing support soon. Can't imagine too many people are seriously gaming on 32bit Windows in 2025 either.I just saw that Steam is removing support for Win 32 bit operating systems.

No because 32 bit games run no problem on 64 bit Windows and Linux. Only games that are a problem on 64 bit Windows are those with 16 bit code.I can't imagine it either although I wonder if it will affect the availability of older Win 32 games ?

RosettaWin… 😛 OK, I can’t believe there’s not a utility, app out there…I can't imagine it either although I wonder if it will affect the availability of older Win 32 games ?
