For this particular issue, I'm using Steam on Windows7 via Bootcamp on my MBP. I'm getting an error message when I try to launch Vampire-Masquered:Bloodlines:Engine Error Available Memory 15MB and the game won't start. I restarted Windows thinking this would correct the problem. But it did not. I have submitted a ticket to Valve, but in the meantime wondering if anyone knows about this? Thanks!

Thanks! I wonder how this needs to be applied? If it is as simple as installing the patch or if there are other issues? I did find this longish post at the Steam Forums that I'll ponder before proceeding.
Has anyone here run Vampire Masquerde: Bloodlines on 64bit Win7? Your wisdom would be appreciated. 🙂
On a separate subject, I just bought the DVD version of The Elder Scrolls V and when I tried to install it, to my surprise it requires Steam authentication... bastardos!... 🙁 Then when I tried to install, the game installer did not recognize my steam install (on drive F) so I had to launch Steam and authenticate my game serial number and am now downloading the game. Why exactly did I buy a DVD version of this game? 😛

That Steam post looks good. I think that's what I read and followed elsewhere for installing the fan patch, but it's been a while. The patch should be an installer, just choose the location and install. I haven't made it very far into the game, but I also haven't experienced any issues running it on Win7 64-bit.

Thanks for the info! If you play your cards right you can sleep with the sexy vampire who lives above the night club, but mostly it is imagined, no visual reinforcement. 😉
I updated the Windows Gaming on a Mac FAQ with info on how to install Vampire:The Masquerade Bloodlines under Windows Steam and run it under Windows 7. Look under the Specific Game Help Section in the FAQ. It's running well now. 😀
