    See I wonder if they know something we don't - i.e. Apple are working on eGPU support behind the scenes.

    Or it could just be the new iMacs that are coming out. The GPU driver leaks from a few days ago seem to point to them having nice GPUs.

    I would rather see Nvidia 10xx support ;)

    It's probably just "theoretical" support at the moment, even though no average Mac would have anything close to the power requirements of running VR. Most development studios run workstations that are miles above any home user computer in processing/graphics power, that's pretty normal.

    Either they're banking on better Mac GPUs in the future, or making VR less power-hungry in general (which would be more ideal for the sake getting it out in more hands of the masses), if not both.
