So the guy in charge -- who's health news can make stock rise and fall by a single rumour/annoucement -- who lied to you last Fall about having a "chemical imbalance" in "absorbing nutrients", taking a leave of absence in which he got a liver transplant and didn't tell anyone before it or after it for an entire two months (probably because someone had discovered it and was going to tell the world), is now back at work.

Do you know, for a fact, that this was a lie? It was quite likely a complication which was associated with his health condition. Incidentally, had BG done the same before he abandoned ship, more than likely few people would have even cared, one way or the other.
What he said makes perfect sense — all this extreme fanboyism is very disturbing.
As if Jobs were some kind of surrogate parent to them.
There is a big difference between wishing someone well and the bizarre display of affection of some posters here.
Seriously. Some perspective is always helpful.
He still has a point. While it’s great to care about other human beings, people here do act like they have lived with him for the past 10 years, when the only times we have seen him was at 2-hour keynotes.
Good to hear he’s back though, maybe Apple can innovate this year instead of giving us incremental updates
