I'm quite happy with the Kindle version, and it looks great on e-ink.I imagine the book has a few photographs? How does that hold up on the Kindle? Look any good?
I don't have one yet, but I'm planning on buying one soon, and this could be my first book on it.
How you people can read an entire book on a back-lit screen without burning your retinas out, I'll never know![]()
Just turn the brightness down. You can set the brightness on an LCD screen so that it's emitting exactly the same amount of light that an eInk screen would reflect.
I use both, they are both perfectly readable.
Amazon have the hardbacks now at half price, so in the UK that makes it 49p cheaper than the Kindle version. Although I am very happy that my Kindle delivered it to my bedside table for when I woke up, I feel a little insulted that I am paying a premium despite the costs of eBooks surely being cheaper to produce.
