Rest it peace Steve. Had it not been for you, my interest in technology wouldn't be would it is today. You were an inspiration to all.
Totally shocked.
There were always rumours of his bad health but he always seemed to bounce back for "one more thing". I figured his retirement had more to do with truly looking after himself after so many years of the pressure of running Apple, and that maybe he was just going to take it easy and enjoy life.
Really sad.

Throughout my entire life, I've had only one consistent hero. He died today. Rest in Peace, Steve Jobs. You changed the world and made it a better place. I know you made mine better. Thank you.

I never knew him, but he seemed to be a great man. The irony of his death on the day after yesterday's keynote is not lost. But, really, these executive had to know he was on his death bed, but they certainly didn't act like it yesterday.

Rest in peace, Steve. You accomplished more in your lifetime than I or anyone else on this forum will ever accomplish. My dad passed away exactly one year ago on October 5, 2010 at the age of 76. A sad day for me and my mom just got sadder.
No no no no no, this can't be true. I can't believe that he would be dead. He was one of the few people in the world i actually looked up to, he was one of the smartest people ever and was a good guy.
