A big congratulations!

I've been reading up on Steve Jobs. Incredible, really. Many people might not know that Mr Jobs was adopted. I've heard people use that as a crutch. It's incredible what he's done. Apple, NEXT, Pixar, iMac, iPod, iTunes, iPhone. I know there were many other talented people involved in all these ventures, but Steve was a rallying point, and anyone else would consider themselves successful to be at the helm of any one of these companies. He doesn't just run a computer company: he runs THE computer company. Not just an mp3 player, but THE mp3 player. THE online music store. THE hottest phone. THE hottest animation studio. Disney is on the decline and Pixar is very much on the way up. I'd say he's very deserving of this honour.

Fortune magazine has ranked Steve Jobs as the most powerful person in business in its annual ranking of the 25 most powerful people in business. Fortune also posts an article on The Power of Steve Jobs.

Of course, these types of rankings are very subjective. To support their ranking, Fortune points to Jobs' deep influence on not only the computer industry, but Hollywood, music, retailing, and wireless phones.

This is pretty impressive, I fully expected Bill Gates to have had this spot
