I caN'T believe some of you are still trying to justify reasons why you should be holding it differently .....

You DONT need to be holding it differently. ONE FINGER TOUCH on the gap is enough to mess with the signal... and that is in no way shape or form.... NORMAL!

A better analogy is this. The dealer stopped you as you were driving your new Mercedes of the lot and said "Oh, by the way, to keep the tires from exploding don't ever drive faster than 40 mph.".

Even better: The dealer advised you that if you held the steering wheel in a couple of particular positions, the car would immediately slow and quickly stall. Also, if you hit anything going over 2 mph, the windshield would shatter.

And I'm sure there will be a fix. My phone works fine because I have a case for it (and always intended to have it in a case). It has a bug, but the device still works. A lemon would be a phone that can't even turn on.

Hey, why don't you go through my post history and read the 50+ posts I made COMPLAINING about the issue. Here is a link: https://forums.macrumors.com/search/?searchid=20855467&pp=25&page=2 Feel free to read ALL OF MY COMPLAINTS about the signal issue. I do NOT think it is fine.

But, I think Apple is making a fix and since I have a case the issue DOESN'T IMPACT ME at the moment. Learn to read, and work on your grammar.
