Remember, this is the National Enquirer we're talking about. Bogus headlines and stories to grab people's attention.

The doctor saying he has 6 weeks to live said it purely based on his appearance too.

Thank you Mr. Jobs!

Whether Steve makes it through this or not, I can truly say – Thank you Mr. Jobs! You have changed what it means to have a computer, a phone, a tv... the list goes on. The world is a better place because of you!

For the rest of us – let us have hope! Apple is a wonderful company filled with brilliant people. I have no doubt that they can and will continue the Apple dream: Think Different!

Dude just started knocking down that old mansion he owns. Would he bother if he wasn't expecting to live to see the new mansion built?

When Jobs first took his current leave of absence, my nurse wife wondered if it was a return of his cancer - apparently the immune system suppression that happens due to the anti-rejection drugs make this a not uncommon issue.

Good luck Steve.

I recall people (especially the trolls) declared him dead and buried in 2009.

He came back and changed the world. Again.

Here's to Steve and another decade as CEO of Apple.

Serious heart-felt prayers go out to Steve and his family.

Having recovered from an extremely serious bout of mercury poisoning from getting fillings removed, I understand the dynamic of profound chronic illness.

God speed.

It is a shame that he must endure this sort of trashy publicity.

And whoever took those photos and submitted them to the National Enquirer is sub-human filth.

But then again, that probably goes for quite a few working with that organization.

We will probably never get to witness a CEO like Steve. Such a success story.

Please get better so you can continue living your dream

Poor Steve, many geniuses in this world die to young.
I just can't picture Apple without Steve Jobs :(

I think the fact that he took a leave of absence in the first place was indication that thing were "worse than expected". So actually, it's not that surprising that he's receiving treatment and having tests run. It seems like speculation to guess what he's doing there specifically, or to assume that means things are dire.

People who have had cancer generally need follow-ups. It is not an immediate sign of a reoccurrence.

Heck, my Mom needs to take pills for 5 years after her breast cancer and have follow-up appointments.

Ditto this. I had a minor cancer a while back and there are follow up visits for years - scans, bloodwork, checkups, etc. I'm sure that they are keeping an extra close eye on Steve, given his high profile and the seriousness of his illness. Hopefully that's all this is.

That said, I wonder how the publishers of these photos would feel if those were photos of someone they loved battling a serious health issue. No class. :(

It seems fake. I have explored nationalenquirer.com and I couldn't find any trace of these "news". Anyone checked this out? Maybe I'm looking at a wrong place?

really upsetting...Steve Jobs is such an inspiration and I wish him the swiftest recovery. :(

They should give him his privacy - this is something we all should know when he decides to tell us.

have my problems with iOS, but every dollar I have ever made has come from working on a MAC - from my Lombard to iMac - Apple has been there - hope for the best.

Geez, they're going to post photos in the tabloids too. Such disrespect. Why can't people leave him (and others) alone and respect their privacy?

Best of luck Steve, I'll pray for you.

NE is like Fox News, don't believe anything and better yet don't even look at it.

Ummm, they did win a Pulitzer bro. In fact, they actually break some of the biggest stories. But no, its cool, keep acting like you know....

I feel a bit sad for people that work at radaronline, and have to make up **** like this. Come on! It's based on pictures from September 2010? He had a liver transplant, which could cause the weightloss. It is very good possible that he had some side-effects from the liver transplant and that he had to take a break. :apple:

SJ for president! :apple:

Steve Jobs gave the world so much. Could we all just give him a bit of privacy when he really needs it ? Damn the tabloids. Its just so damn sad.
