Computer "stuff" doesn't belong on TV.
It used to be called WebTV too. And now Google is trying the same thing all over again with Google TV.
Terrible idea. Computing is individual. Big-screen TV viewing is communal. Will Dad will be allowed to check power tool prices on Amazon while the family is watching "Wall-E"? Will Mom will be allowed to check her e-mail during the Super Bowl? Will little Billy be allowed to update his Facebook page during the Nightly News? No, no, and no.
Hard-core single male techno-geeks will love Google TV for about a week. Then the novelty will wear off, they'll get tired of walking to the living room and turning on the big-screen TV just to tweet what's in their sandwich, and they'll destroy that massive Logitech keyboard when they sit on it accidentally.
