Yeah, it would have been much better if Jobs had designed, built, and programmed their first computers himself, and never hooked up with Woz.

Oh wait, Jobs can't do any of those things. Nevermind.
 
He stated the same thing 2 months ago on the NPR program "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me".

(when asked what tech he had on him at the time, he responded he always carries a black iPhone4, a white iPhone 4(got the conversion kit from some kid selling them on the internet) another iPhone just for tethering, and a Driod X )

I highly doubt that "millions" of people care that much about the color of their phone that they've waited 7+ months just to get a white one instead of a black one.
 
Man...

I waited three or four months for white and finally broke down and got the black iPhone 4.
White one looks so cool! The white makes me nostalgic of my old first generation iPod from years ago.
I remember back then saying, "wouldn't it be cool if they made a phone/iPod? It could be the iPhone!"
You can imagine how excited I was in '07 when I got my first gen iPhone.
Me and my wife got them as wedding presents to each other so we are stuck on iPhone forever for that reason.
I've had every iPhone since so I may have to wait for my contract to run out again and get the iPhone 6 in white.

Most women would choose white iphone in a heartbeat. What's so hard to understand? or you think the iphone is for man only?

"When will the white iPhone come out?" rumors hopefully squashed soon = YAY!!!!!!!
 
Just Wozniak running his mouth again. I doubt apple would really tell him everything given the fact that he is known to turn around and talk immediately. I doubt this is going to happen. If anything the iphone 5/4S will be the same look as the iphone 4, but will come in white as well.
 
I can see Apple letting Woz spill the beans here as a controlled PR kind of thing. I actually wanted the white i4 but I ended up getting the regular one back last July. I may get a white i5 if they look like they'll have supplies for it this time around.

My first thought on reading this was who leaked this to Woz and who will Woz get fired this time?

So I think iPhone 5 is going to be a similar story as the transition from 3G to 3Gs (no design change - marginal speed bump). Probably a redesigned antenna though!

Apple's current design of the iPhone 4 (squared edges, flat front and back), make it SO EASY for companies to make after market accessories and cases, and even for iPhone-heads to easily mod out their phone. Especially compared to the curved back of the 3G and 3GS. IMO.

Make no mistake, Wozniak was the real talent when Apple first started. Jobs would be nowhere where he is today without Wozniak's brilliant mind from the beginning. Yet, Jobs seems to get all the credit nowadays.
 
This is great news for me if it is used in the iPhone 5. Why would Apple re-release the iPhone 4- in a white version 8 months later? unless this would be a tool to sell more iphone 4s before the iphone 5 is released.
 
You would think that if light leak was the problem they could fix it by using two coats of paint, first a black or gray primer to block light and then the white top coat. Or maybe the light blocking layer is sprayed on the inside of the case.
 
Woz NEVER said that. Where do they get their information from. I was at the Engadget show yesterday and he never said that. He said it it imminent because of the recent rumors that he read on Engadget. Even Nilay Patel from Engadget said its not true.

Woz didn't say the white iPhone was coming soon based on inside info -- he also said he "just reads Engadget." We'll post the show soon
