He is one of my favorite comedians ever. Best troll ever.... that aside, anyone watch his show today? (4/1/2010)

He made an entire section of his program dedicated to the iPad. Well placed advertising by Apple? Or just Colbert being the clever troll he is?

Anyway, your thoughts?
 
Advertising? More like advertising...ish.

Sure, Colbert is unabashed about doing product placement for Sierra Mist and Doritos, but he has a legitimate appreciation for Apple products. Though Apple probably payed Comedy Central for the placement, I bet he was thrilled to have his hands on an iPad again.

I didn't have a chance to catch the show, but figured he would have one on today. All I wonder is...did Colbert get to keep his iPad since the Grammys, or did he only just recently get his hands back on it.
 
And the Kindle ad on the back of the newsweek.

"Oh look the screen has both black and gray, Mertle get my calm pills!"

Him waving that iPad around like that puts it's size into perspective, looks perfect to me
 
The guy interviews a lady about her book and says I have an iPad. Makes me wonder what she thought of it.

If you go on Colbert's show, that's a clear sign you are in for comedy. I bet she realized the whole iPad thing ever since he started with it.
