Still on iOS 17.7.2

One serious backlash I just noticed:
For inexplicable reasons the iCloud backup on iOS 18 is much bigger than it was on iOS 17, although nothing changed on my phone data wise. The rumors that successive iOS updates "eat up" your iCloud storage seems to be ultimately true! Just got a message from iCloud that the storage is nearly full - damned! 🤮 🤮 🤮
