I'm I the only one still using a 5w charging brick for my 11 pro max? I do not like fast charging my phone at all. Even now how the battery lasts so long, I don't need to fast charge.

You should try wireless charging...
Slow is the way to go with battery charging.

Aren’t there wireless charging battery examples/tests to show that it’s not healthy for the lithium ion wireless charging over the course of time? I believe there is.
Got any links? Why does the power source matter, for the same power input? Curious to know.
Seeing that many of you upgraded from an X or an XS to the pro and generally upgrade every year or two, does it really matter the charging method? Is this to increase resale value or why the large concern over minor degradation?
Wireless charging is less efficient, so there's more heat generation. Instead of electricity flowing from copper to copper, it's moving though plastic and glass, two things that don't like to transfer electricity. Why does the power source matter, for the same power input?
My XR (after a year of exclusively fast charging with my MBP charger and what I believe is 12W charging on my VW’s infotainment system) was at 350 cycles, 96% and the battery lasted just as long as when I got it.
It’s a phone and it’s disposable.
To the person above saying you got at best $50 more for your iPhone (I’m a bit skeptical that anyone would buy a year-old XS with only $100 depreciation but OK): is that $50 worth having to wait 4 hours for the battery to charge EVERY TIME instead of 30 mins so you can be on your way sooner? Don’t nickle and dime yourself on things like this. Life is short. Plus it’s hugely ineffective.
Same. Have been using iPad chargers for years. Never noticed any major degradation. Then again, usually upgrade annually to every 2 years.I can’t remember the last time I used the 5w iPhone charger. I almost always plug into a multi-port power hub (Anker)... and before that, I’d usually use an iPad charger (12w).
I did try fast charging my XS Max and did not like how hot it got, so I never got into a habit of fast charging. Nice to have the option, though.
Why aren't you using the new charger? I don't understand. I thought this was what people had been pushing for Apple to include.I'm I the only one still using a 5w charging brick for my 11 pro max?
