Heck, the Carlisle lot have shown up – time to wheel out the big guns!

Ladies and gentlemen, the reason to vote for Hull in this poll is clear – it’s thanks to us that Leeds United suffered the ignominy of relegation to League One last season, due in no small part to us being slightly less rubbish than they were. You see, a vote for Hull is a vote for decency and all that is right in football.

I rest my case.

Convinced me, one more vote for Hull.

The reason why County should be voted for is far superior to that Leeds nonsense

By engineering a spectacular drop in form back in April, we allowed Shrewsbury to take the 7th spot in the League Two playoffs. Shrewsbury then beat MKDonalds over two legs, preventing The Franchise from getting to Wembley and ensuring their fall down to the lower leagues continues. This was the only reason for us deliberately losing all those matches and missing out on the playoffs ourselves. Our sacrifice was for the benefit of English football and all its clubs and their supporters (except of course MK, but they're a false club with false fans :)). This means YOU!!

So please, vote for Stockport. Your own club's future has been secured thanks to our non-achievements.

Stockport County 2-2 Hull City AFC
Griffin (29)..........Barmby (27)
McNeil (90+)..........Ashbee (50)
Attendance: 1,832

The honours are even then, although technically City earn a victory on the away goals rule. Erm, yes, that's right.

Agreed. I never caught a glimpse of said bottle of wine... and he's had his chances too. You, at least, had an excuse as you weren't present. ;)

Hope this bodes well for the season. :)

Given that we lost 3-2 to Winterton Rangers during the week, our pre-season doesn't bode that well.

That's Winterton Rangers of the Northern Counties East League. Exactly.

Technically that makes us worse than those Winterton wotstherenames.

We should lose by default, simply for charging £10 a ticket for a friendly.

It'll be the quality of the opposition that put the prices up. ;)
Exactly!! £2 a ticket max :p

I can live with a draw, considering you're a Championship side and we were fielding trialists in some positions. Got to love Matty McNeil though :D
