Ok, first of, I've owned over 10+ iOS devices over the last 7 years, so I am most definitely not an Apple hater or Fandroid. But, just for the sake of argument, why does Apple get a pass on releasing stuff that is "a work in progress" but say if an auto company released a car that was a "work in progress" (maybe the power windows only work correctly 90% of the time, but 10% it doesn't work if it's raining), people wouldn't say "Oh, it's ok. It'll get better..."

We are not the ones who put the expectation of perfection on Apple, they are. They are the ones who stand up on stage, and tell us they've created this "magical, wonderful new feature, and it's better than everyone else's", and then basic common sense things are glossed over or aren't there. I mean seriously. For example, how about the ability to do something as simple as sort reminders by date, so I can see what order they need to be done in? Is that really that difficult? Gee. I can manually rearrange them now in iOS6. Thanks Apple. Nothing I like more than manually rearranging 50+ reminders every time I need to add a new one.

If they want to claim to be the best, then they need to be held accountable as the best, and it should be called out when they are not. They really need to stop thinking that some guy in the design office knows what everyone wants and doesn't want, and actually start asking us. Screw their "everything is a big secret" mentality, and hold a darn focus group, so we can tell you what we really want. It's becoming clearer and clearer they only are concerned with what they THINK that we want, and not what we actually DO want.
