I'm not sure Apple would notice.

It's like I said though...it's the new reality. You either go with it or you don't.

Buy or don't.

Totally agree with you on the new reality. A lot of people like to have the best of the best and the new of the new and that's okay. But with these features, IMO, it is not justified. The more people who buy it the more leverage they get on raising the price on iPhones. As some people said, the iphone X, as a premium phone should have had 128gb and 256. Just seems like a dick-move by Apple to get people to pay for something that is "premium" and yet premium only has a handful of things that the iphone 8 doesn't have ie; animojis, super retina display HD.. Just doesn't seem all too premium besides the screen taking up most of the phone.

Not to mention TouchID disappearing, the notch, the ****ed up UX/UI compromises the notch causes, a way higher price tag, etc.

I'm not sure if Apple will admit to their mistakes/bad decisions and fix these things in 2018.

I only know I will not buy the ipX in its current form.

It is also a tad bigger than I'd want...one-handed use is a big priority w/me.

This is one of those mind game being played on the customers. You have to buy based on what you need, value, and afford. Be rational and buy what's right for you. That's how you beat Apple's pricing game.
