Storage problem!! 13" inch new 2011 macbook air

out of 319.21 GB !

This macbook Pro is brand new, how is this even possible?I don't have anything on here that should be causing this! PLease help!

My guess is that the cat grabbed it and hides it under the blanket. Animals on wallpapers are known to do this sometimes, its due to their homing instincts.

To be a little bit more helpful: I noticed that you have a Music folder on your desktop. That might be one of the reasons for your large Other category, as I imagine that music won't be displayed as Music if it is not in the iTunes library.

As others said, tools like DaisyDisk will tell you exactly what is going on...
