The two Apple Stores near me in California are still ”temporarily closed”. No options for pick up. I’ll just have to wait until October 1-5 until my Red Watch 6 arrives
I’d say I’m 99% sure att will have little to no stock. Unless you are near one of their big flagships none of the stores have them.

While I do have the SBTi 44mm with sport loop band ordered and delivery date set for 9/25 - 9/29 and is currently in PFS, I ordered an in-store pick up for the Blue Aluminum Case 44mm as well just to see what the color is like. I'll likely end up returning it and keeping the SBTi tho.
Sadly, Apple store near me does not carry the Apple Watch Edition so I have to order them for delivery.
Same. No shopping appointments here in MA for Friday release. and no pick up for the watch. I suspect they are trying to manage crowds. I will just be patient.

Well DANG. Answered my own question, the watch I could not order for pickup yesterday (Thursday) at my store .. I CAN TODAY (just tried, Friday). 44 mm Product red with cellular. so tempting. but mine in the mail should be coming next week... can I be patient?

Yeah, that patience lasted all of 2 minutes. Pick mine up at 3 pm. Will return the other when it comes in.

I preordered a red watch and it is out for delivery today. I’m seeing graphite in stock for pick up today at the apple store closest to me and it’s super tempting.
I had placed an order with Att this morning but was able to get the same watch for in store pickup at Apple so cancelled the Att order.
I ordered 2 AWs on Tuesday immediately the event ended -1 titanium and 1 SS both with the braided loop. I got shipping notices to be delivered on 9/28 this morning.
Well this morning San Francisco has my titanium with a sports band available so I had to snag it. So today I pick it up at 1145am. Returning my 2 orders when they arrive. I will order the band separately after I see some feedback.

I'm not seeing any braided loops available in my area. They seem very scarce and they might be hard to come by because of the variety of sizes anyway
Checked a few times last night with no luck but at 9AM ET today, the app updated and I was able to order pretty much any Series 6 model (with the exception of braided loop or sport band options) for in-store pickup today on Long Island / NYC. Have a 11am pickup appointment. Sure beats 9/29!
