I've talked to girls I have found attractive who are waiting at the bus stop or whatever. I don't actually say "OMG YOU ARE SO HOT ASL", I just start talking to them "How was your day etc..." and that obviously shows that I find them attractive/interesting in some way.

ASL=American Sign Language?

ASL=American Sign Language?

In this context, I think it's Age / Sex / Location... it comes up more in internet dating.. but even there, mostly only creepy people are that direct.

I used to get Yahoo messaged, randomly. Once, there was this interchange (unsolicited with a complete stranger) that went like:

Them: Ping!
Me: Excuse me?
Them: Ping!
Me: I'm sorry, I don't know who you are. Do I know you?
Them: Ping! ASL please!
Me: Ping! Block, please <block>

Sometimes, you gotta wear your hatablockas.

I've heard that them Italian dudes have no qualms with telling a girl what he thinks of her. I've also heard that American girls visiting over there are commonly intimidated by their veracity too. :D

From my experiences in Italy this seems quite true! The guys had no problem walking up to the girls in our group, putting arms around them, trying to kiss them, etc. Not all of the guys, but alot of the younger guys when we were in a trendy shop or restaurant, especially at the clubs. Theyre just so fast about it all, its rather amusing to watch the girls respond. Definetly a great country to visit, everyone was nice to us, nice places to see, good food too!
