Strange beeping noise on AirPods Pro 3 (NOT low battery!)

Hello,

I have noticed that my AirPods Pro 3 make a strange beeping noise when I put them in the case to charge – usually after 15 seconds after the case is closed.

I’m not talking about the obvious battery low sound – the one I’m wondering about comes from within the case.

Maybe some speaker / mic calibration?

Anyone else seeing this?
Is this a software bug or hardware issue?

Sorry for the white noise in the video, had to bump up the volume so the sound becomes better hearable on the video (in reality it’s well hearable).
