It’s the minority of users experiencing it (otherwise it’d be a bigger media issue).

Doesn’t mean I envy you any less ;).

A minority of say 30% would be okay but it is close to 50 / 50. Not a good number but also a first gen so I bet Apple will do “something” to address this as much as OLED technology can provide.

There are striking physical and weight differences, at least in my experience, between a categorically large and small phone, but only really noticeable if you have access to both phones on a regular basis. Using any one phone you will get accustomed to its characteristics rather quickly and tend to discount its short comings because you want to like its form factor.

I’ve always thought the 8 Plus is for me, which it still is, but handling the smaller 8 made me realize that’s not the only form factor for me. Both fits my use case rather well, both form factors are pleasant to use and easy to adapt to. I am surprised at each’s differences each time I switch from one form factor to another, and has made me appreciate each so much more. The beauty of competition, choices and options as a consumer is a wonderful thing.

Seems perfectly natural that you pick the tool that does the job best with 1 hand operation. Which in this case is iPhone 8.

I can use the iPhone 8 or X comfortably with one hand when navigating, but if I had to choose between which one I could use longer without fatigue, that would be the iPhone X. But I do appreciate the width of the iPhone 8, but eventually I use two hands to type comfortably.

The screen resolution of the 8 sent me back to 8 Plus. I do love the size of the 8 but I watch a good bit of video.
