Hello fellow Apple Watch users,

To me, the Apple Watch has become my most important device, the fact it monitors my health and keeps me active in these important and challenging times.

I also love music and realised there was a gap where, although you can listen to radio using Apple's own service, not all radio stations are available, such as the BBC here in the UK (and I personally love BBC6 Music), so I taught myself SwiftUI and I've developed a fully independent Watch App called Streamlets, available on the Apple Watch App Store only.

It plays over 25,000 Radio Stations from around the world, using the Radio Browser Community Web Service, if your favourite station isn't on there, you can add it on the website and it'll appear on the Watch App to play too - especially useful on cellular watches where you can leave your iPhone at home and listen to your favourite station while walking, running or cycling.

Anyway, sorry if it's a little bit of shameless publicity (I'm a one person, indie developer) but thought I'd post this in that someone may find this a useful App to bring them enjoyment, as it has me.

Streamlets - A Radio Streaming Watch App

Stay well and keep safe.

Great app! I’ve been waiting for someone to add a radio stations app to the Watch....lost hope for iHeart. Very good job! I like that you added the small touch of allowing audio to play through the Watch speaker. A couple of Suggestions: Maybe add function to favorite a country in the “Countries” section....so you do not need to scroll to the end for US. Finally, create a search station function. Thanks again for brining this app to the Apple Watch....it works great!

Congratulations! The app I was looking for!! Very nice especially because you can listen without having AirPods but simply with AW‘s speaker!! Yes, as said above, a “search” station function would be appreciated... keep on developing!!

Thanks both, appreciate having some feedback. V1.2 has already been submitted to the App Store with the station search feature and I'll add favouriting countries on the roadmap.

What a fantastic app. Something I’ve always wanted & given up hope that Apple would implement. Great to see search facility is on its way. I’m sure the app will progress nicely as time goes on. My one request at this stage which would certainly serve me well on my Apple Watch series 5 , is watch face complication. A corner or sub dial complication for the infograph & infograph modular would be great. Maybe by pressing the complication would then take you straight to your last played station &/or your selected favourites. I walk a good 10 miles daily & don’t like to take my phone with as. My cellular series 5 gives me everything I want , apart from radio. If I wanted to listen to Smooth FM (here in U.K.) I’d have to take phone. This app is now perfect & absolutely no need for me to take phone out with me. Having complication for quick easy access would be perfect.

Brilliant app & Thank you.

This is nice little app and I want to thank the developer/OP for doing what I had been waiting for someone to do since the streaming API was put into WatchOS 5. For me it was access to BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio London on the go without my iPhone. There is a rival product now but I have purchased both to reward them for their efforts.

First and foremost thank you again for a fantastic app! Thanks also for recently adding a Watch complication for the app. One issue I’ve found though is when I add the complication to my Apple Watch series 5 Infograph Modular watch face the icon is just two dashes....screenshot below.

I just logged in to say thank you for developing this. I can finally goto the gym and listen to BBC and LBC.

Developer quickly fixed this issue after reporting it....version 1.3.2 resolved issue with complication icon.

Ok OK. I finally downloaded this app as I could not argue with the price. I'm thoroughly impressed AND overwhelmed. All the stations...how am I supposed to find favorites. LOL.

job well done so far!

Looks great and I may well try it out as I miss them when out running.

Such a shame that BBC policy over content control got in the way of an official route. I would still love to see BBC stations being able to be called up on the HomePod without having to stream them from the phone.
