Do not get Apple’s woven cases, they are horrible.
Do you have one and have you used the case?

I do and I find the media complaints and click-bait-influencer videos to be less than honest. The amount of abuse they have subjected the Apple cases would damage any case. I have had the Apple case for a week with no issues, no marks, and the case feels fine.

Regardless, to each their own.

It gets a bad press but the Apple clear case isn’t actually that bad if you want to show off the colour of your phone with a relatively slim well fitting case.

I use an ESR clear case, but my wife uses a Blackbrook leather case and loves it...it's her second one. We both used them on our iPhone 12s and loved them. She got a new one for her 15 PM and it's just as good as the older one.

Yes I did have one and it is repacked and ready to be shipped back. It felt like cheap junk.

BRING BACK THE LEATHER!

Ok… my question on the Bullstrap leather cases:

Do they have a metal button for the “Action Button?”

If not, might be a pass, but they look beautiful. Choosing between Dune and Maverick for my natural titanium PM might also be a hard choice.
Did you ever wind up picking up a BS case? Curious which one you landed on for the natural color phone.

I've tried the Apple clear case in the past but got rid of it because it was an incredible fingerprint magnet. Did they make that better for the 15 series iPhones or is it still the same it has been for years now?

Also, I have tried the FineWoven case for a while and actually like it! After a bit over a month it's starting to get a bit dirty, but still okay.

Anyway, I've gotten the Spigen Mag Armor Magfit case for my 15PM. It's very robust and fits well, but I find it a bit too plasticky.

The phone feels too good without a case...

I never bothered getting a leather case at all. I have been going naked since that post. I did get a MagSafe popsocket that really helps the Max be a one-handed phone. I could always reach all my non-max pros one handed with ease, but even with a case that can be tricky with a max. Enter the popsocket. You can maneuver with it to use the max one-handed.

I did pick up an Oakley glasses pouch for when I may be throwing the phone in a bag instead of a pocket.

As much as I love leather anything... I don't like the 15 Pro Max with any case.

Sometimes I feel like the only one but I’m very happy with my Apple silicone case. Guava color is so great and I absolutely love the feel of it.

It’s still a massive finger print magnet sadly, why they don’t give it a matte texture I’ve no idea.

I absolutely refuse to stick one of those finger handle/buttons on the back of my phone.
I mean I get it, but it is a magnet that leaves no marks. If it were a sticker I would completely agree.

After moving from a 14 Pro to the 15 Pro Max, this phone is ruined with a case for me. I miss the 11 Pro rounded edges and the 12/13/14 warranted a case for me since they were so uncomfortable/slippery.

The VERY small size difference and edge chamfering/rounding from 14 to 15 is only noticeable when naked. Throw a honking big leather (or any) case on it and it is no different from any of the last 3 Max phones.

so.... see and feel the titanium with a somewhat unsightly (but amazingly functional) popsocket; or same ol, same ol leather brick?

I've had leather cases on my phone since the iPhone 5 (that was the first apple leather case, right? I don't remember them existing for 4, 3G but had some sleeves for those). It was time for a change.

I love the size and thinness of the silicon case, but I hate the stickiness of silicone. Catches on my pockets and catches ENDLESS lint.

I ended up with the leather case from Vogueen. They take several weeks to arrive, but they're 85% identical to Apple leather cases. As close as I've found.

These are guys 100% just reselling the AliExpress knockoffs.

Well, this isn’t leather, but my new favorite case is the Pitaka Slim and Light case. It’s the thinnest, lightest case that I’ve found, and it’s grippy enough for me. Also, it’s not covered in lint and dust when I take it out of my pocket.

Hey all -

Man, I am struggling with which case to use after Apple discontinued its leather cases. I was a die hard leather case user for years - I loved how thin they were, while also being tactile. One material, thin, easy to hold and it wouldn’t slip out of your hand. So far I’ve tried:

-Andar: Love the leather smell and look, but it’s noticeably thicker/boxier than Apple’s old case.
-Bellroy: Weird two-tone material thing going on, IMO. Don’t like the curved lip at the end. Feels like a TV dinner box…
-Apple silicone case: Closest thing I’ve found that works so far. Don’t love the feel of silicone, but one material, grippy, and fits perfectly (as you’d expect since they make the phone).
-Apple FineWoven case: Feels thick to me, don’t like the two-materials (sides and back), and has less grippiness so slips more often.
-Apple clear case: Shows off the phone but is so SLICK - literally.

Have you tried any cases that you like - ideally grippy, thin, and (as a bonus) leather?
Nomad. I've tried many, none came close.

Same. And be careful with the leather cases that say they're compatible with both the 14 Plus and the 15 Plus. They are, but the fit on the 15 Plus is not good. I'm talking to you, Alto and others.

Actually the Apple leather cases for the 14 Plus series fit reasonably well, although the power buttons are harder to press on the 15 Plus than they should be (minor size differences).

On the 15 Plus I'm currently sporting the Belemay leather case. It's okay. Again, the power button is harder to press than it should be. But okay.

The Bullstrap cases are constantly backordered. And you have to get them directly from Bullstrap at a ridiculous $89. They're apparently made to fit the 15 series.

There’s a whole thread on this in the accessories section. To me the alto is the closest I’ve found to the apple leather case. I may try decoded but I hate the camera ring on them.

Close, but alto needs to update their cases to (truly) fit the 15 series. They're currently advertising that the 14 Plus case fits the 15 Plus also. It does, sort of.

I personally like the Apple Silicon case. Quite weird that this is the premium case of Apple this year.

It looks good and provides very good grip so not a chance of dropping it.

I ended up returning the Alto because the leather wasn’t very soft and I didn’t care for the huge speaker cutouts. After 5 leather cases the best one I found was the Keyway but you have to be careful about moisture getting in around the X on the back. That happened to me and they are sending a replacement. I also ordered the bare skin case but no shipping confirmation yet. They only have those for the pro so far.
