Stuck in limbo with my iPhone "reserved" wtf

literally got stuck with the "Reserved" bs at 12:17

FINALLY got the other email to finish.....and the date has slipped.
What is the point of a reservation then? Apple.....I already despise alot of your business tactics but this is just ridiculous

Forget the email.

Go to apple account and go to track order and look for the link.
I completed mine 20 mins ago and still no email.
But 2 week shipped and i am pissed!!

Yep, the reserved thing is bs :/ finally got my order in, but my date's slipped too-says 2weeks now. Sucks.

I login to my apple id, and it is on the track order page as an option.

Odd. Mine says "We are holding your reservation" with no option to continue with the order or anything else. Maybe your order got processed before mine.

Either way, if it says 2-weeks to ship even though our phones were "reserved" (in my case 8-minutes after midnight) I think there's something wrong. Probably best to contact them, maybe tomorrow?

Apple screwed the pooch. I'm the op. finally got in but couldn't edit my address, and listed two week shipping. so I ordered from AT&T instead. They specify arrival on launch day and let me edit my address.

I kind of feel like having a drunk friend drive me home trusting AT&T with my order but I was SO frustrated that I decided to make apple lose some money by giving the sale to AT&T. Plus the address they were trying to send it to is 4500 miles away and has now been bulldozed into a parking lot since I lived there ten years ago.

Once I visit that link and log-in, I get a error saying "There was a problem with your request. We apologize for the inconvenience, but we are unable to support this request online. Please try again later. Thank you for your patience.

I feel the same way about ordering from AT&T. But Apple gets the money either way.

same here, so relieved. I cant believe how quickly people got pushed to a 2 week wait time, wonder how many will get changed to 9/21 delivery after things settle down

This happened to me too, and I was pissed because it said 2 weeks. However, after I placed the order anyway and rechecked the shipping estimate under Order Status, it said delivery will be next Friday. It will work out! Just use the reservation before it expires in 24 hours!
