Also got a departure scan of 5:28 p.m. from today, but still showing arrival October 5.

Same. Departure scan but showing 10/5. Have a feeling that’s going to be updated to Friday. Possibly tomorrow.

Weird thing is that I get an e-mail update (probably related to UPS MY Choice) indicating tomorrow as the delivery date.

I've got a mixed bag.

One of my watches got the double import scan before I received the 9/27 email and it departed. The other one is still stuck in Louisville.

The annoying part is the one that is moving is one I ordered for my mom. Mine is stuck. My wife got her's on launch day, which was great.

Guess who was the one that got up at 3am to order all 3 watches?

Oh wel...

Yay...mine has finally gotten the L out of Louisville and has just now arrived in Philadelphia. The end is in sight!

Yup me too. Got to Queens this evening then to another depot even closer to me. I’d be really surprised if I don’t get it tomorrow but at this point who know.

My second watch must have been one of the last ones in our "consolidated batch" to make it out alive:

Louisville, KY, United States 09/27/2018 3:15 A.M. Departure Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/26/2018 10:49 P.M. Import Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/25/2018 3:12 A.M. Import Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/25/2018 1:18 A.M. Arrival Scan

Happy for you! I woke to another update. It arrived about 530am to the depot near me from which my deliveries come. Have to assume it’s being delivered today.

Same here. Both of mine made it to my local UPS hub for delivery. They took completely different routes to get here which was interesting considering they arrived in Louisville together.

I know importing is “a thing” but this experience has demonstrated to me that UPS doesn’t have itntigether the way Fedex does.

Considering all the launch day issues I read about, and the fact UPS kept providing me with shifting delivery dates, it seems like they have a lot of room for improvement.

On that note, both of my watches are (finally!) out for delivery.

Cool. Mine had a Destination Scan at 8:20 a.m. this morning. Just out of curiosity, what was the time difference between you Destination Scan and your Out For Delivery notice?

Mine's out for delivery this morning (even though it still says 10/5). It took about 12 hours from departing Louisville to the destination scan for my local UPS.

Mine just arrived. I used the UPS My Choice Follow My Delivery feature so I was ready at the door when he pulled up. I DID have to sign for it; I don’t know why the Apple order said “no signature required.” Anyhoo, I really like my 40mm gold aluminum. In my opinion it really should still be called rose gold. It’s a very good tone match with my rose gold wedding band and earrings, even with the matte finish. I would have liked the gold stainless but I don’t need LTE and I didn’t want to spend the extra $$$.

One of them was 2 hours, and the other was an hour, but they are both on the same truck it seems by looking at the "out for delivery" scan times.

I have read that if you have a UPS "destination scan" before 9am, you can expect to have it delivered that day.

My wife was disappointed there was no Rose Gold option this year, so this will be good news for her.

I hope she’s pleased. It’s definitely rosy...here’s a pic next to a 14k yellow gold ring

I'm going nuts. UPS truck has driven past my house 3-4 times in the last few hours, stopping at houses here and there all around me. I guess the route is planned based on the order in which things are loaded into the truck (?), but, it can't be described as anything approaching efficient no matter how you define it!

That map feature is probably something I shouldn't have access to :D

How maddening! Hope it shows up soon. This was my first time using that map feature. He actually got here faster than what the map showed. I heard a lot of banging around inside the truck, while I guess he was moving stuff around to find my package. Really, all UPS trucks should have a separate bin, padded in regal purple velvet, for Apple devices.

I suspect it's either based on the order they are loaded in the truck, or maybe the map just randomly shows them at locations in your area. When I watched them last time, all I could think about was all the fuel that was being wasted by driving back and forth.

Also, it seem like there could be some privacy and security issues with UPS broadcasting the location of delivers - just a guess.

I was hopping to test my theory out today since I had 2 different tracking numbers on the same truck, but both maps kept saying they could not determine the location of the truck so I couldn't compare the two maps.

In the past, it has worked when they were at my house, showing them right on top of me.

Hadn't considered the privacy/security angle. Interesting. Well, according to the map he's driven by me a few more times in the last couple hours. Crazy if accurate!
