If my phone is on this flight to Alaska.....it still has to go through Louisville?

If that is the case how is it going to be delivered to me by end of day tomorrow? I'm in Iowa and any other time I have had a package come via UPS through Louisville, it has taken a day just to do that. So will it transfer planes in Alaska for one to Louisville with a short break?

Just curious as to how it works. Doesn't really matter to me as long as I get my phone this week. :D

Mine still shows:

ZhengZhou, China 09/24/2013 6:20 P.M. Arrival Scan
09/24/2013 5:50 P.M. Departure Scan
09/24/2013 4:00 A.M. Origin Scan
China 09/24/2013 1:25 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS

Supposed to be Thursday delivery. Anyone else still show this?

I'm in Florida and I to cannot see the package arriving at my home tomorrow either. Interesting to say the least how they can do this. Possible delay in delivery perhaps ?

Same tracking as the screenshot on the last page, i guess i'm with ya guys on this shipment!

My phone is also on UPS99, after spending the day vacationing in ZhengZhou yesterday (is ZhengZhou a tourist destination, and if so, what would there be for a bored phone on a layover to do?).

If today goes like yesterday, there will be a couple of hours in Anchorage, then on to Louisville, through package sort, and back out on planes to the destination centers, arriving in the wee small hours tomorrow. It is indeed quite likely that many of those phones will be delivered tomorrow, although my phone (and many on the west coast) is scheduled for Thursday. I'm guessing that flights to the west coast can't get there in time to get on the trucks.

Yup! They cut it close, and some will miss connections but most make it.

While they departed an hour late for anchorage, they have been cruising well above their planned flight speed.

Looks like they made up a half hour.

Wonder if it was just winds aloft or if they poured on the gas. Could be that with so many high value packages it may be worth it to them to avoid missing too many connections in Louisville.

I'm exited to get my phone tomorrow but you guys are seriously tracking cargo flights lol. I love this damn forum :D.

Cool...thanks! You guys have been pretty on top of things in that other huge thread.

Are you getting yours on Wednesday?

Mines currently on track with everyone elses, with wednesday delivery (left korea earlier).

What is the flight number?

Following that too :D I'm on that flight!

woohoo! just left anchorage. should be in KY while i'm asleep and fly to my area before i wake up. :)

Lucky people on the East Coast all have Wednesday estimates. While I have a Thursday estimate, I'm *hoping* that UPS might surprise me because we're all on the same flight. Just depends where it ends up after Worldhub I guess. FedEx made me happy today, delivered my 5s case 2 days ahead!

That's an interesting question. They were late for Anchorage->Louisville, too and they're going at 590 knots (over a scheduled 504) as of writing. I'd say they're stepping on it, they don't want to make us iPhone buyers angry :D

Noticed the extra knots on the Louisville leg as well

Probably just winds aloft but interesting. Awful lot of fees from Apple may just be encouraging a little extra oomph.

Nope. Just checked other flights, including FedEx, and everybody is 70ish knots over filed speed.

My last scan is still:

ZhengZhou, China 09/24/2013 6:20 P.M. Arrival Scan

Anyone else in the same boat? Supposed to be Thursday delivery.

Yup. Same spot for the third of our three phones. The other two just left Anchorage for delivery on Wed.

Assuming no mechanicals or weather it will take to the air around 5am EDT tomorrow from zhengzhou and arrive to you on Thursday.

Really amazing when you think about it.

its the third day that my iphone is stuck at Zhengzhou!
why??

ZhengZhou, China 11/08/2013 8:30 P.M. Arrival Scan
11/08/2013 5:30 P.M. Departure Scan
11/08/2013 11:51 A.M. Origin Scan

anyone???

I don't think there are as many orders shipping direct from China now. The European's who ordered 25 Oct are seeing their iPhones originate in Europe.

I'm hoping my UK order will change to preparing to dispatch in the next 2-3 days - if it starts in China I will let you know!
