Right.... 🙄 because we all love lying just to save a buck. 🙄
As I said, when I need to save a few bucks on Apple hardware I go refurbished, since hiding behind the skirt of my old student discount is a bit juvenile. Especially when you DO have a job.
Nothing against you, just the way the post sounds. Like it's COOL to break the rules and fool the big bad Apple Inc. out of $200 per computer sale.
Sorry?. I don't recall ANY lying, in my relative stating "I'd like to buy a Mac Pro - here is my NUS card, for the discount". Nothing was signed, nothing was pertained to OR asked of him with regards to the "rules" which you pretend you know about so well. Nothing states: "You may not give it away as a gift, NOR allow anyone else to use or borrow it"... or can you find that in the "rules"?. Please... save your breath...
"rules"... I am seriously considering falling off my chair, and rolling myself on the floor, filming it and posting it on YT. Maybe I won't, any more than I'll consider your tripe as anything BUT that. Consult your handbook of morals, and come back to me when find ANYTHING that suggests that asking my relative to buy a Mac Pro under HIS name, and then hand it to me as a gift OR loaned machine (makes no difference), is in ANY way immoral. Be brave, and face the facts; it's not "immoral" and you are not any better than me for having suggested it is!.
If you'd like a morality 101; consider hypocracy and judgement of others, based upon the inescapable fact that you also, are human, and inherently prone to SIN as we all are. You are talking to a guy who's Father is a Christian priest, and whole heartedly helped him to afford the purchase of the machine, in full knowledge of the discount and it's terms, encouragingly so!. If you cast aspersions as to HIS morality also, I shall have no option but to grin like a chimpanzee, every time I hear you spout such blatently flawed bites of babbling BS.
Come to terms with morality, and realise that you sit in direct judgement of some other human, as if you are somehow immune to the very same treatment of your "opinions". Nothing illegal OR immoral has transpired. Apple charge £5,760.00 for 32Gb FBDIMM for Mac Pro; Crucial charge £1,720.16 for the VERY SAME SPECIFICATION AND QUANTITY OF MEMORY!. Care to revise your moral rulebook, to accomodate and justify this pricing?.
move along now.
🙂
Oh of course not... thanks for pointing that out; convenient sub-clause to attempt to persuade me to listen to your otherwise ridiculous comments
😉
Don't see one single mention, that giving away the computer that is purchased, is against ANY rules:
I quote the T&Cs of Apple UK:
http://store.apple.com/Catalog/uk/Images/salespolicies_individual.html
and remind ANYONE stating otherwise, that there is NOTHING to suggest that lending or giving away the LEGAL PROPERTY of my friend/relative, is in ANY way illegal OR immoral. I rest my case here.
PS: I hear that Pizza Hut employees are entitled to a limited number of free pizzas; sub-clause; said employee must eat said pizza themselves, and are forbidden to pass slices of said free food, to other hungry parties within their social environment. Pizza hut will embed GPS trackers within the pepperoni, to ensure this is conformed to. Sound silly?... ironic.
Tripe, through and through (do you have Apple shares, per chance?).
