Actually online ordering even saves more, in Chicago if I go Michigan Ave Store I have to pay $2425 (10.25%) out the door. It is $225 in taxes whereas online store you pay only $129. It is another ~$90 savings!
 
I just ordered my retina MBP with the full processor and RAM upgrade. I wouldn't have done it without the fantastic student discounts this round.
