I use the Targus Sport notebook backpack (http://www.targus.com/us/product_details.asp?sku=TSB215) with an Incase sleeve with my 15" MBP. The backpack is great for my needs, but its definitely designed to hold more than just one textbook in addition to the notebook, so it might be too much for your needs.

Still, it works great at protecting the notebook, while hiding the fact that you're carrying a $2k+ notebook around with you. Also, the bottom of the backpack is PVC and designed to repel liquids, which has come in handy a couple of times when drinks have been spilled in my classes.

I just used my LL Bean backpack.

Computer carrying bags, while useful with their exact sized compartments, shout out to the world that you have a laptop. Makes it easier for potential thieves to spot out targets.

I got myself a Crumpler Super Boomer :)

I use a combo of backpack and sleeve.

and the tucano second skin (the brown looks a lot better in person plus not to many people would have a sleeve that color)

I agree, and that's why I'm trying to get a normal-ish backpack (like NF or LLbean) that has an indiscreet laptop holder in it. I just feel like I should really try to protect the $2K piece of metal (hah, literally now), and a sleeve + backpack with laptop slot is a good combo. I slipped and fell on ice back in December with my current lappy in a neoprene sleeve in a regular Jansport, and it barely survived.

I recently bought a Wenger model Syngery backpack for my new MacBook Pro. It's totally awesome and excellent quality... AND it doesn't scream "steal my laptop." It looks like a "regular" bag to me.
Lots of nice padding and compartments. You could easily fit 2 laptops in here.
Really comfortable to wear, even when full. It has "shock absorbing" straps which seem to help a good bit.

Speck

I went ahead with the pin-stripe Speck Messenger Bag. I believe they call it a CorePack. It's awesome! Fits everything that I need to fit in it. You can even check out some reviews on it through Youtube.

That's a nice bag. I might get it, however, do you find it to be too bulky? Like it just seems kinda thick.

No, not for me. I think it's a perfect size. It's probably about the same size as a back pack. You just wear this one over your shoulder which I always love.

I use a Timbuk2 messenger bag (large) with INCASE sleeve. For some reason, it seems hard to put a macbook pro with a INCASE sleeve in a medium size Timbuk2 messenger bag.
