Studio Display brightness in Windows

Could you DM me the model too please? It works with high bandwidth display port to usb c cable right? The ASD is searing my retinas and is pretty much unusable at night.
Hello all. I have a Studio display that I am trying to get working better with my Windows 11 machine.
I have this cable - which is working great. Audio and the camera work great too.

I am on an i7 with an RTX 3070TI and I can't seem to get brightness to work.
I downloaded the dedicated brightness control here https://github.com/Chris-Poland/SDBC and followed all the instructions to install vid:05ac pid:1114 rev:0201 mi:08 from ibusb-win3. Yet, I still get a red line in the brightness controller indicating the PC is not connecting w/ the monitor. Any one have any tips? Maybe my cable is incorrect?

I found a utility, no configuration just open and you can adjust brightness on windows (provided it's connected with USB A USB C or thunderbolt): https://github.com/himbeles/studi/releases/tag/v1.0.1
Hmm, I downloaded this and ran the .exe but nothing popped up. I also ran it via command line with the --help option and got a blank line. Not sure if I'm missing something here (on Windows 11).
Would you be able to DM me the model info also, please? I just got a new Windows PC and have been digging into this to no avail so far until I found this thread and got my hopes up... thanks!
