I think there is a place for all of us in this world, thank you for not flaming my post. For me it is a bit of principal and a lot of I dislike the whole AppStore experience. A bit like iTunes....

Everyone has a choice. As long as you don’t tell me what I have to do I’m not going to do that to you. We all can’t like the same things 🤷‍♂️

In ~2012 I was spending maybe $150 - $200 a year in Apple's App stores (and probably $500+ in iTunes).

In 2020 I spent a grand total of $0 in their App Stores (and maybe $10 in iTunes).

I wont spend money on a platform where a feature or function required to use an application could arbitrarily disappear at any time rendering your purchase useless as has happened to myself so many times now with iOS / MacOS.

Plus, the current App Store UI is horrific.
