Try this flow chart (as terrible as my formatting is):
- Do I want to send calls and texts anywhere without carrying my phone?
* Yes = Series 3 with LTE
* No = next step:
- Do I want a heavier-feeling steel case?
* Yes = Series 3 with LTE
* I prefer a lighter case = get Aluminum Series 3 with LTE, OR go to next step:
- Do I want a high-tech, scratchproof case, and am willing to pay extra for it?
* Yes = Series 3 Ceramic Edition
* No = Get aluminum and go to the next step
- Do I want the watch to have GPS so I can get more accurate distance records and see my run route after I'm done?
* Yes = Series 3 GPS (no cellular needed)
* No = Series 1
Whew.... and the colors are up to you. Personally, I wanted my Watch to feel as nice as my other watches, so I got mine in polished steel.
