Suggestion for M1 forum

With the Mini and 2 laptops using the M1 architecture, it would be nice to have a dedicated forum (even if it is temporary). There are lots of issues going on and would be far easier to find discussion on M1 systems in one place.

Consider -
which software are now updated to native M1
which software doesn't work correctly under Rosetta 2 (Filezilla as example fails for SFTP web server connections)
the massive debacle with a fair amount of monitors not performing correctly (or at all) 4k and 5k
Thunderbolt issues, usb-c to dp and HDMI, native HDMI
getting multiple displays to work properly
using hubs/docks and some show success while others do not solve issues
Typical smaller issues and bugs that come with new models
SSD discussion as some seem to have short lives (articles have discussed these instances)
etc.

Plenty to talk about and yet, no dedicated place.

I was hoping um... that on the front page where you have other items lists such as

Mac Desktops
Mac Notebooks
iPhone
iPad
Apple Watch

etc.

That would be where M1 should have an entire heading of its own.

However, I do appreciate the response.

I had a thought the other day that it would be cool if we could have tags in the AS subforum (keep the AS subforum as it is) for new threads. Similar to how we have in the iPad forum where next to a new thread it'll say 'iPad Air' 'All iPads' etc.

As of right now this is the best way to handle it, IMO. Having two separate MacBook Pro/Air boards and then eventually for every machine is just going to make a mess of things. In the future, it will become that way on its own with time.
