Summer sale has started at steam. Great time to buy new games 🙂

I got Call of duty Modern Warfare 2 on my list of games to buy which is currently at a 25% discount. Perhaps it gets a higher discount, so I'll wait and see how it goes.

i want to buy cod mw3 even thats on 25%, so you saying the discount will go higher before june 30th & i should wait?

It very well could, especially if it goes on a flash sale.

Duke Nukem Forever is $8.59 right now. Normally $19.99.
 
GOG is also having summer sales, but I love the Steam one coz Far Cry 3 is available for $7.49!!!!! Prepare your wallets. The sales has just started. I hope I can get Battlefield 4 under $10. 😀

I might bite at 50% if I really, really want it and it's already a cheaper game. But my rule of thumb is wait til 50-80% off. 25-40% is nothing with Steam sales and will always be beat later (daily deal, flash sale).

Call me a cheapskate, but nowadays I wait until it's either 75% or $5 or less. My backlog is just too huge thanks to steam sales. Heck, I have games from 2009 when I first became a PC gamer that I've barely touched.

seems you become more of a collector then a gamer 😀
i'll buy cod mw3 once its 50% for sure, will wait till the end to see the price & will buy..
 
What annoys me is that I have so many games I own that have Mac versions, just not on steam.

I have the entire id Software pack, and all the bioshocks, but the majority aren't SteamPlay. 🙁
