The 14 days of talk time could be because he restored it from a backup.

Also, the screenshot is way too big to be a 3GS, that's most certaintly from an iPhone 4.

I don't recall the standby time, but my usage time was 9+ hours when my iPhone shut off tonight. (I did that on purpose to drain the battery.) I believe I unplugged it about 24 hours ago.

Yeah, I’d say something’s definitely wrong...

This was my battery life today so far. Do you all think it improved? Does this look normal or should I make an appointment?

Improve? not sure you can do much better than that....I'm at 25% with 4.5 hours of usage and 12 hours of stanby

C'mon! You're on track for like 8 hours of usage and 48 hours of standby time. People like you who are even considering returning their phones for stuff like this is what makes Apple genius bars such hell to get through. Rant over, no hard feelings.

How is your current period & lifetime only 2 hours...mine is 17 days

doesnt it reset if you reset your phone or connect it to a charger?
To be honest i dont use my phone for talking much. texting, internet, twittering, facebook, and music, sure.

My battery is terrible also. At work we are not allowed to use our phones at all so I never do, but I went to the bathroom during middle of day and checked my messages. The batter that was 100% was now 48%?

That's a big difference for someone not using their phone. I did forget to turn off wifi, so I turned it off then, but still battery appears to be the same as my 3GS.

Just had my phone replaced today for this issue. I was told I had faulty hardware after they ran a diagnostic. They handed me a new phone.
