Its the best holiday of the year Super Bowl Sunday and its time for your picks. I got the Steelers by a field goal.
 
This is the Buses last year and in his home town I expect a big game out of him.

Hey, Im a Giants fan:( So I don't like seattle much, I don't think the 12th man will be much of a factor today tho.:p
 
Although I don't like either team, I am going to have to go with the seahawks winning by a touchdown.

It starts at 4:00 pacific time (los angeles) no? ABC right? (wouldn't want to waste any minute flipping through channels...
 
Its on ABC in theory it starts at 6pm EST but once the pregame ends it will be more like 7.

Kickoff is at 3:25pm PST and it is being carried on ABC SD and ABC HD (1080i & Dolby Digital woot)

Coverage starts here at 10am, kick-off at 10:30.

My american mate is going for the Seahawks so I am too. Go, um, who is it........GO SEATTLE!!!
 
I'm rooting heavily for Seattle -- I was born and raised there. Given the way they handled Carolina, I think they've got a pretty good shot. I'd say Pittsburgh's defense is slightly better than Seattle's, but Seattle's offense is WAY better than Pittsburgh's.

BTW, what's with all the Steelers fans in Charlotte? The place is crawling with them!

Charlotte is the home to a lot of refugees from the North... which means there are a lot of Steelers fans here.

I am NOT a Steelers fan... I'm a Panthers fan. But I cannot root for the team that knocked us out of the playoffs.
 
The best part of the game so far is the Bud Light commercials.:p
 
Ooohhhh, I'm watching it now. It's the first game I've seen and I have no idea what's going on. I'm going for the little blue ones, they have pretty costumes.


So, can anyone explain why they wear so much padding? It seems a bit weak. :eek:
 
I am amazed at how many Steeler fans are there, usually its to neutral and you cant tell who the crowd is rooting for. Its nice to see real fans and not people with money at the game.
 
I don't understand all the hooplah surrounding this.

And dear god the Star Spangled Banner was crap.
