Millions wanted to see sports history and a perfect season.

Millions more wanted to see the underdog ruin a perfect season and send a QB, who could have been known as the best QB of all time, packing.

Add on top of that, people who just want to see the commercials, you have yourself a record setting game.
 
Yep, I thought it was a great game. It went down to the wire in a good defensive struggle.

These weren't just mindless fumbles and other turnovers, as is too often the case in the big game.

These were two excellent defenses trying to control the game, and a constant power shift from one to the other.

Football at its best.
 
It was a good game because the Patriots were supposed to run away with it in the 1st quarter. The fact that the Giants were on the Pats heels all night makes it a good game. Brady had never seen as much pressure as he did last night. If you know anything about the game you understand that it was maybe one of the best Superbowls ever.
