I've been racking my brains for about 10 minutes and can't think where I read it but I was searching for info about XBOX modding and saw the front page story on one of these sites and this guy said his friend in france had had his server raided by the police and was pretty shook up and had taken his server offline - I think it was a pretty big one. But the day after SN is down... Why don't they just roll over and give up? There's always gonna be pirates, there's always gonna be people who don't wanna pay...

You'll find that the action specifically was targeting BitTorrents servers... to gain immediate discovery to prevent erasure of the evidence (ie, sieze the servers.)

Looks like it only took less than 10 days (signed Dec 9) to grab the machines, that quite fast for an international case.

I got the WoW open Beta and Myst 4 demo off of torrents. i guess those are very illegal.

im not slammin ya if you do use bt. hell, i love it.
i wasnt pointin fingers at anyone specifically so imnot sure why the other guy felt the need to tell whta he downloaded.
