Just kidding, that's cool bro. I don't have the unlimited data plan for the iPhone as I was late to the game but I do have it for the iPad. I barely ever go over 2 GB in a month using the iPad and I don't ever see how I would be able to use that much data on the iPhone.

I used to think that way too but if you buy a lot of tv shows, cd's, movies and apps over 3g you can easily go over your limits

I'm waiting with baited breath. I really want an iPad. I opted for an Air instead but I STILL want an iPad. I plan to sell my mint 3G iPhone and use it to fuel my iPad purchase.

I used the netflix app for about 2 mins on 3G and about 20 on wifi. Is it just me or is there way better quality on wifi than on 3G?

It depends on the location. The quality is based on connection speed

Generally the quality will be better on Wifi, however, in areas where you get a great signal you will get just about the same quality as wifi. If you're in an area with low signal, obviously the outcome is over 3G you will get terrible quality.

we didnt have internet/cable at my house for a while, and so we just hooked up my computer to the tv.. i used miwi to make a wifi connection.

i showed my friends the first episode of LOST and we decided to watch the entire show. (they were on hulu) (minus the 6th season)

after about the month of my phone just being a wifi point for the whole house (and watching HD lost episodes repeatidly) I was about 60gb in less than a month.

never heard a peep from at&t. (which is exactly what I expected)

Apple support told me to leave my iphone on 3G to see if it helps my blutooth connection, it seems to though streaming SkyFM to my BT Audio radio and listening to 5-0 Radio has me using about 100mbs per day, haha

well my lil sis got lucky with her 3GS i gave her due to i got the iphone 4...she was using a samsung phone with family plan she had 5$ unlimted data with it..when she slapped on the sim card to the iphone 3GS next day pop up message 30$ has been add for your data plan its required...we know the manger of ATT here and they hooked it up by keeping the data 5$ unlimited on the iphone 3GS..i still pay 30$ for my unlimited data its cool as long as i have unlimited i already pump 3.5 GB of data (17 days) would be more but PANDORA RADIO is CRASHING like crazy..just stream other radio/movies ect..

but yeah ATT new data plan does suck..should be 1GB/4GB..200MB not enough with all this apps that can run in the background...but hey they might bump it up once ATT losses the iphone to help the network work less
