Hey everyone! Question for anyone that may have done this before. I'm trying to get a from-the-field answer before asking AT&T about it (talking to them is always a last resort). 😉
I feel like the answer is a "yes, of course, because moving your SIM doesn't change that you're still paying monthly for a piece of hardware," but you know, AT&T issues can make utter fools of us all. I don't want to run into some nonsense like "AT&T has detected that your service is not attached to the IMEI of the device you have on your Next plan! Block service immediately!" 😉
(The use case here is that there are occasions where I'd simply like to be using the Mini for its smaller size, in case anyone is curious. Easier to one-hand in many situations.)
Thanks!
- I have an iPhone Pro Max, on AT&T, currently being paid for monthly via their Next program.
- I also have an iPhone Mini.
