Is this all/mostly in reference to SwiftKey for Android or for iOS as in the app that was released and being discussed in this article/thread?

It's about Android. My point was that while I like Swiftkey's technology in prediction and autocorrection, the implementation in Android forces you to learn a new way to type whereas the iOS implementation seems more muted in that it's still based on the iOS keyboard.

And it's stupid that it still types www. macrumors. com. Spaces hello?

That behavior is app dependent. If the field is marked as a URL field, SwiftKey won't add the space after the period. Some app developers don't mark their URL fields correcty, so you'll see SwiftKey try to add the space. I can't reproduce your problem in Chrome's address bar on my N5, but definitely can in one of the crappy apps I have.

I have used this keyboard in my Android days. This is THE ONE AND ONLY thing I am missing so very incredibly much on my iPhone.

It is so much better than any other keyboard on the market (or stock).

I wish this thing was systemwide....

PRO's & CONS

PROS: I love swift key. I've used many forms of texting/typing apps for androids and iphones, etc. By far Swiftkey is the best.

CONS: The people in this thread who seem to have opinions against Swiftkey are obviously people who haven't tried it enough to make an intelligent judgement.

Swiftkey is the single most thing I miss most from my Android days, even though it couldn't learn from Whatsapp yet back then.

Something's gonna have to give regarding the keyboard on iOS in the next 2 years, otherwise I'm gonna have to put serious thought to moving back to Android.
