Swiping up causes sound dropouts on AirPods Pro

Does anyone else see this behavior? It doesn’t happen every time I swipe up to go “home”, but it happens several times a week.
 
Yes. It took me ages to figure out that if I don’t play with the device I am listening from then all is well.
