I saw the preview, and I am concerned with the edge protection. They said it stays on fine on the front and back, but that the edges didn't feel very secure. Considering the issues I had with the back cover I got from them for my iPad, I think I will wait for some hands on reviews of a shipping version before I spend $30 on what sounds like a thick skin.

I was under the impression that it snapped together, but it just sounds like it's held on with adhesive on the front and back.

That right there means i'll be passing on this.

I just received my pre order air mask for my iPhone 6 plus. I have to say that I'm really impressed with this product. It installed in seconds and fits really well. It was worth the month wait.

That was my initial thought as well. There's no way this thing holds up very well. Also dislike the colors on this thing. Not my cup of tea.

Got my Airmask yesterday and installed it ---

Will try to take pics later today, but my initial impression is that the Airmask is an interesting approach to 360 protection (except for the switch and buttons) that is VERY minimal. It really feels naked compared to other cases I've used (understatement) on my 6 Plus up to now. It is mostly successful. Installation was easy and fast. No denying it looks great, that's for sure, it really looks like there is nothing to it even though you literally wrapped the entire iPhone in it.

I just received mine as well. Have not installed it yet. Will post pics when/if I do.

It is very thin and light. My initial impressions concern the color and the sides. They make a gray and silver. No black. Not sure I am going to like the gray front. The sides do not adhere and feel very flimsy. Maybe they will be snug once applied.

The front is a plastic screen protector. Glass would have been nice, but I doubt that would be easy to manufacture.

Stay tuned...

Have to agree ---

One corner of my Airmask seems to not want to stick to the phone so although I do no have a gap there is enough non-contact that it feels like if this edge catches the whole show would be over...for the cover at least.

Also, this is in no way thick...to the contrary it is the next best thing to going commando.

It is so minimal and thin ---

That you could realistically put a case over it while it is installed...

I have to say I really like this skin. One thing that's a little annoying is after its installed it makes a crackling noise when I touch certain spots. Maybe it will go away with time. Switch easy really did a great job designing this product.

Love how barely there the Airmask is (pix)

Was not completely sure about the Airmask but have had it on since I got it and admittedly I didn't think I would like it as much as I do but it is a very nice idea and looks really good. Also, I didn't even read the instructions when I put it on thinking it was like other cases you could remove and put back on but I am pretty sure it goes on and that's it. If you remove it you won't be able to put it back on because of I believe the slight adhesive quality it has/uses to adhere to your phone. In thinking this I didn't even take of the screen film that I had on or even noticed that it cam with prep cleaning pads. I just put it on...

To me it sort of defeats the purpose of a minimalistic case. If I want a case that thin, then I'm looking at something like the Caudabe Veil where I can actually see the iPhone through the case. Otherwise, if I'm covering up phone, I'd rather have something more protective.

To each his own...

I liked it, but the screen protector scratched. Great customer service! They are sending me a replacement.

I just want a black one...

Got mine. It looks decent. A bit cheap look to it but once installed seems to work well. Definitely super thin and feels grippy. Not a fan of cheap plastic or whatever they use. Screen works well and responding to touch without issues.

Hmm..I may order the white. For those that have the case, have you removed it? Wondering how hard/easy it is to remove..

I liked it, but wish that there were a black version and the screen scratches easily. They did quickly send a replacement when I told them it scratched, however.

This serves as a case or skin. Not really meant to put another case on top.

You do have to apply it just right, or the corners will not adhere
