Does anyone have pictures of the black case on the phone? Mr.greenberg perhaps? I'm trying to decide which I like best. And did someone say the black silicone attracts lint?

Did you not watch this video by metagamers? I've got the white Rebel and it attracts lint at the top and between the spine, but it wipes off easy.

I was able to get my hands on all available colors of the new SwitchEasy Capsule Rebel case for the iPhone 4 and shot a video review for all of you.

In the video I show all 3 colors on the phone and even do so mix and matching of colors.

Enjoy!

Can anyone comment yet on the relative thickness the case adds? How does it compare to the Seido Innocase Surface or Active.

I like the looks of the case and the fact that it comes with its own dock insert, but need a holster also. Kind of hoping it might fit in one the Seidio holsters.

Thanks

Mine just arrived via FedEx international.

The internal silicon case surprised me; i was expecting some soft weak floppy silicon. Instead it was TPU-ish. The spine/exo-skeleton is tough too. Overall i like the way it looks....

The CapReb in a word: Sleek.

Now to purchase the actual phone... :p

The new rebel case is rather slippery

Is it just me or is the new rebel case slippery? It has pretty much no grip on the sides and likewise on the back. I just got it today, love it especially the tight fit but the only flaw I see is that it's not grippy enough, I'm afraid I'll drop it lol. What do you guys think?

Now that I've used it for a few days the grip improved somewhat. Idk though something about this case was missing asthetically, so I spray painted the exoskeleton with a black high gloss all purpose spray paint! :) it's drying right now. I'll post pics by tomorrow after two more coats..

Finally got my black Capsule Rebel in. I love it. It offers great protection, it doesn't add to much bulk, and I find the design very appealing. Great case. Also happy to have the port protectors for my iPhone 4 and the little video stand. I just hope the Neo gets released now for the iPhone 4.

......just wanted to post that I've just received my Capsule Rebel(black) and first impressions are really good!!

I've been using the Otterbox Commuter, prior to this, and have to say, the Capsule Rebel does actually feel a lot thinner than the Commuter.

Love the styling on the back and in my view, does provide quite a substantial grip when holding the phone! This could be my best case yet - and I've owned quite a few...!!!!

The only very very minor issue is the bottom part(just below the Home button) ever so slightly sags a little but that could just be me being extremely OCD!!!!

One other thing that I did notice was that inside the exoskeleton frame, it looked like the paint spraying process had missed a rectangular portion which ran vertical down the length of the spine - the whole of the inside was a matt black colour apart from this 'missed' rectangle of high black gloss?!! It's on the inside so it's not noticeable from the outside but just thought I'de mention it here in case anyone else has this on their case! (mine was purchased directly from Switcheasy Europe)

Seidio Holster Compatability

I am using an Otterbox Commuter with a Seidio holster. I absolutely love the Capsule Rebel and desperately want one. Can anyone confirm if it works with any of the Seidio Holsters? That is the only thing stopping me at this point!

Been waiting for this case to come out. I want to get the black and the red and cobine the two cases together. :p

Hopefully I will find out some! I have the capsule rebel and seidio active holster on the way. Will post pictures when they both arrive.

I have the same Holster. My initial thought is that the clip that contacts the rear of the case may have to be filed or notched to accomodate the raised spine on the Capsule rebel, what do you think?

Mine has that as well. I purchased my black one from Switcheasy International direct as well. Fortunately it's inside....

Here is the final result of me spray painting the exoskeleton of the capsule rebel case. It looks pretty good and has an even better feel to it. :)

Do any of you have any tips on how to remove the spine from the thinner plastic layer while its installed on the phone? I'm having quite the tough time removing the spine without scuffing up the plastic layer a whole bunch. I'm sure its slightly unavoidable due to design, and its covered up anyway...but still :(

Love the case none the less! But taking the case off to do a routine iPhone cleaning is a crazy hassle.. Thanks!

Sorry but all the pics you guys posted do not show the true color.

Here is the one they sent me:
This is actually how it looks.

After a day of usage I can say that there isn't any grip even with the spine on the back and because of that spine the case is also wobbly on a table which renders it unusable if you don't want to hold your iPhone 4. Other than that there are no issues really but I will have a full and detailed review in a few days..

What did you mean that there "isn't any grip even with the spine on the back"?
