Those are some nice pictures you posted :) but in my case I spray painted mine so the color tone looks wrong. And about the grip, before I painted the exoskeleton there was like you said no grip to the spine. I kind of botched the paint job but it's nothing a little perseverance and patience can't fix.

Thanks :) Oh I sorry I did not read your post.

Iv'e put up my final review which can be found here.

Very informative review SchneiderMan. I ordered mine last week and should get it any day now. Do you or anyone else know how this will work with a Seidio Holster?

I have the seidio active holster which I bought to try with the capsule rebel. It does work, however it is a little thick for the case. Ther is about 1-2mm of play at the bottom and the top clip does not quite touch the case. It holds he phone but is a little loose, not to the point of falling out. I am going to order the surface case holster and see if it fits better (suspect it is too thin).

I just recieved my Capsule Rebel in Black. It fits much better than the Otterbox Commuter Case I have been using. I have the Seidio Active Holster and I find the fit to be excellent. The top part of the spring clip sits on top of the raised spine of the Rebel. You can move the phone a little if you push it around, but it does not move on it's own at all. I am a freak about tolerances and I think the case fit is excellent and the holster fit is as well. What a relief.

Just an update. I think that this case is the best case I have tried so far. The fit is perfect. It is solid, no gaps, flex, etc. The case becomes one with the phone, it just feels very solid. As others have mentioned, it does not sit flat due to the raised spine on the back of the case, but that is not a deal breaker for me. I mantioned in an earlier post that it fits well with the Seidio active holster and that still hold true. I do not find the finish on the case to be "slippery" as some of you have. I think the grip is on par with other cases I have tried. Anyway, my 2 cents.

Is it just me or is the new rebel case slippery? It has pretty much no grip on the sides and likewise on the back. I just got it today, love it especially the tight fit but the only flaw I see is that it's not grippy enough, I'm afraid I'll drop it lol. What do you guys think?

No...not you. I received my CapsuleRebel today and I'm returning it tomorrow. Looks great...but way too slick and slippery for my taste.

I got the black capsule rebel yesterday and I love it. It doesn't feel too slick for me either. The fit is great, it offers awesome protection, it is surprisingly slimmer than I thought it would be, and I love how Switcheasy includes all the port covers and dock connector. Great case so far!:D

I'm debating on getting this case to replace or suppliement my Incase Slider. Has anyone tried both and would you be able to compare them? I've looked for some reviewers online that have used both but cant seem to find a comparison. I love the looks of hte Capsule but just wondering how it feel is compared to the Slider.
