Switcheasy Nude

Wanna Get Nude?

I have 2 Switcheasy Nudes, both in "Ultraclear" (which is accurately named). Just got 'em the day before yesterday direct from Switcheasy. Installed one (easy install, btw), and the other is still unopened. Nice cases: simple, easy install, clean.

Problem? I want a little more cushion around my iPhone.

So, anyone want these? Would prefer to sell 'em both for $25, shipped via USPS First Class, U.S. only.

PM if you want 'em. And you can trust me, too. See that Join Date over there on the left? Been around here a long while, and I have a 100% eBay rating 10 years running. :)
 
Has anyone tried taking pictures with the ultra black one yet? I have now tried both the Incipio Feather and CaseMate Barely There, and both forums here said at one point or another there was no flash issues, but this was not the case when I tested. I'd like to see if someone who has a ultra black on post 2 pics (one with case off, and one with on) so I can compare. Anyone?
 
Anyone know of any pics of the Lime color? This is the color I want to get and if I like it I'll get a couple more.

HOLY COW!! :eek: That stuff is unbelievable. Do you have any idea how long before they come out? I'm definitely getting one of those iBands. It looks like it does the job right without ridiculous bulk.
 
Ordered a black one a couple of hours ago. Got confirmation mail from PayPal right away, but no mail from Switcheasy themselves. I contacted them using their Web form. It was nice that they responded pretty quickly, telling me they usually ship within 24 hours. I hope that's true!

It's definitely coming out by July 31st. I'm totally excited too, the D30 fabric (gel?) is really amazing!! I'm normally against paying $30 for a case but this one I'll happily plop that much for. 2 more weeks...... I hope they sell this at Amazon like they did with the 3G/3GS versions, I'll buy it in a heartbeat!!

I was impressed with the iBands too. I stumbled upon a demo video of them about 2 months ago and couldn't believe it.
 
Yeah, iBand looks great... but being the shallow guy that I am, I still would very much prefer a more discreet look.

Agent 18 ShockBand looks like it'll do the trick for me, but we'll see when it comes out.

It didn't look that obtrusive to me! As a matter of fact it looked more discrete than most cases that offer this level of protection. However, I haven't seen the one for the iPhone 4 yet, so it may be different then.
 
Just got my nude a few minutes ago in the mail. So far I love it, sleek, great fit, all the ports are covered with the included plugs, everything seems great! I'd highly reccommend it to anyone who wants a minimalistic case.

Btw I have the white an as far as I can tell so far, no flash issue :)
 
Received both of my Nude's today. Here are some pics of the Ultra-Black. Excuse the crappy photo's, I took them in a hurry.

Likes:
-Adds very little bulk to the phone.
-Very good fit. Perfect around all buttons/switches.
-Port covers.
-Buttons are recessed, but still accessible. Some think this is a negative, I do not.
-Great price.

Dislikes:
-Minor blemishes right out of the package. Not major, but noticeable.
-Major rainbow effect with screen protectors. I like that they are included, but I will be getting another set.


I just received the case today so I cannot comment on the durability. First impression, I do love the look of the Ultra-Black.
I also purchased this case in Teal for my wife if anyone needs pics.

Mine shipped July 8 and I still have not received it. How long is it taking for all of you guys that already received your nudes.
 
Ordered on the 8th, received the 10th. My impressions:

Pros:
- Covers all sides; port covers are something Switcheasy does really well.
- Thin, adds just the right amount of bulk and weight; makes the phone easier to handle.
- Cutouts on the screen protector line up precisely around the speaker/camera + home button.
- Installs, removes without issue with a Zagg skin on the rear. Not sure what all the commotion is about this.
- No more reception issues (edit: after thorough testing, reception issues still exist)
- 2x port covers, 2x screen protectors.

Cons:
- Advertised as "tough" lexan polycarbonite but feels a bit "cheap."
- Wish the headphone port cover was "tethered" somehow; from experience, these are easy to lose.
- Screen protector doesn't cover enough of the glass, exposes about 1/16" of the left/right edges. My Zagg protector, by comparison, does a much better job of this.
- Surface seems to scratch pretty easy despite being made of lexan.

Overall, very satisfied with purchase.

Good to know this will work with my bse skin. Does the skin leave watermarks?

I got the white one so N/A for me. The case does leave an imprint on the skin around the camera cutout though. Maybe that's what the concern is, that it will stick to the skin over time and lift it off when you remove the case. But so far so good on mine.

Oh and biggest "pro" has to be that the reception issues are gone!

(edit: after thorough testing, reception issues still exist)
 
Got mine today. Very disappointed. The case looks so cheap. And it doesnt fit the phone with wrapsol film. even though I only have back side on. Have to return it for refund.
 
Got mine today. This case is pretty sleek. Feels nice in hand. There were some burrs on the edges but they rubbed off easily. Not much for protection other than scratch prevention. It's a very nice minimalist case. I might get another in a different color.

It's a good temporary case until my Element Case Vapor arrives.
 
i got mine today and the case was slightly deformed so i must contact them for a replacement. got the ultra clear. i tried to fix it some with a hair dryer to heat and reshape and that help some but its still messed up around the volume buttons. screen protector seems nice to me though and case feels nice in hand.
 
I got my ultra black and clear today and love them. They are nice and sleek and give a great look to an already beautiful phone. I am happy with my purchase.
 
My sister wanted the case in lime, so I ordered one for her. My PayPal receipt even shows lime, but SwitchEasy sent her a purple one instead. Not sure what happened.
 
Received by Ultra Clear Nude case today. As soon as I took it out of the package, I noticed that there was scratches all over it. Don't think im going to try to return it since it's going to get scratched anyway. Other than that, the case is awesome.
