Okay so grouping notifications doesn't work like in Android. Each message shows up as an individual notification in the notifications panel. That's kinda stupid.
So looks like it only groups the apps not the notifications within the same app if there is more than a few apps with notifications.

That's what grouping does. Are you looking for some sort of collapsibility of notifications? If so, no, that's not there in iOS. I can see some people wanting that, but not using it that way is certainly far from stupid (plenty of people benefit from seeing each notification rather than having them collapsed).

Yeah collapsing within the grouping and then being able to expand it to view the individual notifications within the group.
I my case it is stupid cause I can go a few hours without being able to check my phone and then I have to keep scrolling which is a waste of time since I get emails from 2 different accounts, Hangouts, Whatsapp, FB Messenger, iMessages and regular sms plus every other app that has notifications.

Like I said, it might not be something that's better for everyone, but it's not stupid for some others. There used to be a limit that could be set for each app to only show the most recent few notifications so that things don't get really full, but that doesn't seem to be there as of iOS 9.

I don't see such an option unless its not in the Notifications section.

I hope OP isn't overly dependent on Gmail as Gmail app on iPhone supports only 5 accounts.

I like my most used icons on the doc. My wallpaper is unobstructed. My icons are on my second page by category.

Brilliant, I do the same thing. On my iPad Air 2. I've gone to minimalistic on my 6s Plus. Space gray with black background. Reduces my eye clutter. Keep picture only on lock screen.

I never was into the black faced iPhones. But now that I've got my wonderful awesome perfectly working iPhone 6 for work, I'm enjoying the black face.
It's cool because I'm using two sizes and two colours. I think the black is easier on my eyes but that may just be the newness of the black face.
